ZAP – Zinfindel Wine Taster’s Heaven
ZAP is the Zinfindel Associate and Producers annual wine tasting event. It’s usually in late January, and you can get tix online. It’s the best wine tasting event I’ve been to, but it’s all Zins – over 250 wineries in two buildings. You’ll also be handed a commerative glass and a baguette on the way in. There are tables of cheese to cleanse your palette between sips of wine. If you don’t like that rich, jammy red wine flavor, it’s not for you. This is a very popular event and people come from all over. Learn and drink wine too. This photo shows only half of one hall. Do the math. It’s a bargain and an education in wine.
