Union Square Flowers

A flower stand in San Francisco isn’t all the quirky, but if you’re here on vacation, it might be a little quirky to buy flowers for your hotel room. I love having fresh flowers in my room when I travel. It just makes the whole experience feel more special.
I’ve been buying flowers all over the city for years and my favorite bouquet comes from Union Square Flowers at 100 Stockton Street (corner of Stockton and O’Farrell Street). It’s the only one at that intersection. The bouquet I like best is a collection of white flowers that are in season. The price varies, based on the size and season, but they’re usually $15 – $20 … and well worth every penny. The flowers are always very fresh, and the people who work there are always so nice and very accommodating … much more than the other stands there. Eric (pictured above) helped me today and made sure I got the best bouquet out of the bunch (pun intended).
If you’re not in the mood for an arrangement, gardenias are only $1.50 and perfect for a hotel room, the office or anywhere at home. Live it up and take one along.
Tell ‘em you saw them on Quirky San Francisco, where you always find fun and quirky things to do here in San Francisco.
