Quirky San Francisco

Francis Ford Coppola usually sits at his very own table, which is all the way to the right and usually doesn’t have a white tablecloth. Apparently, he popped in and his table was taken. Either way, it was great to spot him sitting outside his restaurant – Café Zoetrope on Kearny and Colombus. It’s the bottom floor of his building where his production company is, Zoetrope and the building is a beautiful old classic, the Sentinel Building, which is a unique piece of architecture and looks great day or night.

There are famous people all over San Francisco, but you usually have to be prepared to see them as they are, not as we see them on stage, screen or in print … without make-up and dressed to blend in. Just keep your eyes opened and you’ll often spot someone.
