Usually, it’s so foggy we can’t see the fireworks, but this year it wasn’t bad.

After dinner, we hiked down toward Pier 39, which you know I don’t like at all, but nevertheless, it was our only choice if we wanted to actually SEE the fireworks. Naturally, it was crowded, but the energy was fun and it’s always good to mingle in a crowd of people sharing a common interest.

Be sure to watch the video in the next post, which is actually better than the stills. Fireworks are a bitch to capture correctly without a tripod and a lot of patience. Ahhh.
