Rent a bike at Bike and Roll, pack a minimal lunch … a bottle of wine, some cheese and bread, check out the ferry schedule at San Francisco Ferry Boats aka Blue & Gold Fleet and off you go for a day on Angel Island. Angel Island has bike trails that are fun and don’t really take all day, but take your time, expore and enjoy your picnic overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, where you may want to take another bike trip.

Neither of these trips are difficult and allow you to get some exercise and see some parts of SF that you wouldn’t have been able to see.

There’s more to Angel Island, but I don’t want to tell you everything here. You’ll want to see it all and expore on your own.
